27/12/2006· I have a Whirlpool gas dryer. The Group A type. I have replaced the thermal fuse, the coils, the high temp thermostat and the cycle thermostat. The flame sensor checks ok. What happens is the flame either cuts out after 12 sec or never starts. If i remove the lint screen from the dryer it seem to work correctly. The flame starts and stays on.
