· Jan 1, 2012. Thread starter. 3. Rick, The FSM says the resistance should be 2 3 kohms at 68 degrees F. If I put my multimeter in the 2 kohm standard mode, I get noncontinuity. However, if i put it in the autoranging mode, I get a reading of kohms. This is why I am confused on which reading to believe.
