i have a 1997 chrysler lhs car was running perfect then i went over a rr track the motor stopped like it would if you ran out of there is plenty of gas and the fuel pump is working good. Checked the crankshaft sensor it was bad replaced it and it started right up.

Disconnect the wire that connects the fuel gauge to the sender unit, then turn the vehicle on. If the fuel gauge reads full, this indicates a problem with the sender unit or the intank mechanism.
