9/7/2021· The air flow depends on the engine volume, so a V6 or V8 engine will have higher readings. Low mass air flow readings do not mean the sensor is bad. A clogged up air filter or plugged catalytic converter can also cause lower air flow sensor readings. Vacuum leaks affect air flow sensor readings too.
The O2 sensor voltage readings did not change, so our diagnostic tech requested voltage readings on the command (ground) side of the B2S2 wiring. The test results showed .5V from the PCM on the command side of the circuit, which the diagnostic tech interpreted as the sensor heater being off.

Also, my Autoenginuity scanner is not showing any significant readings above lb/min. on the Mass Air Flow reading. The autoenginuity live readings sensor range for the MAF is about 026 lb./min.

OBD2 readings are always the actual readings from a component, OEM side readings may be substituted to keep the vehicle running so they can be misleading.
